After SCN went to the AFNEWS RPC (Regional Production Center) at Ramstein AB, Germany. 

Went to Saudi Arabia for Desert Storm. 

Got out of the AF in '95. 

She married her husband, whom she met at Ramstein and moved to Oklahoma with him. 

Joined the Kansas Air National Guard in '97, retrained into photography and transferred to the Washington (state) ANG in Aug of '98. 

Got out the following year after she had her daughter. 

Had a son in 2001 and rejoined the Guard after her husband retired in '04.

Started out as Radio Engineer, then became Shift Engineer. 

Upon return to SCN in 1991 became Shift Supervisor, then NCOIC Maintenance (1994) and NCOIC, Engineering (1996). 

Hosted "Transcontinental Rock" on SCN FM from October 1985 to October 1988 as a volunteer. The success of the program (which was pre-recorded and played on the Control 16 Automation System) led to the switch of live radio programming from AM to FM in October 1988. 

Selected as ABS Engineering Supervisor of the Year in 1994. Provided engineering support to SCN Honduras since SCN assumed operational control in 1987, including designing, along with SFC Josh Hart & SPC Marcy Bahls the SCN facility in Honduras. 

Other projects he was involved with during his tours were 24 Hour TV operations, AFRTS BMAC encryption, MMDS System, Digital Radio Studios, Post Production facility reconstruction, Live remote TV broadcasting from the Atlantic Side, Numerous Radio & TV remote broadcasts, Control 16, Audio Vault/CORE 2000 Radio Automation systems.

Assigned to Grissom AFB , IN for 11 months and chosen to return as NCOIC of Howard PA shop, later moving up to the Com. Rel. position South Com Hdqtrs.  until his retirement August of 89. 

Gary was the escort with the CNN news team that got the footage showing Noriega's henchmen switching clothes and attacking  Ford and others. Gary  took him from the US embassy where he had been hiding to Quarry Heights where he was debriefed and then to Howard where a C-141 was waiting to take him to Andrews. Gary is still waiting for his promised breakfast at the O'club.

Went to St. Louis , MO for a few years and worked in the golf business. 

Offered a Job in Austin, Tex, with a communications consultant firm. Got
down sized, went to work for Goldsmith as tech advisor, and with Dell for a short time, before coming to AT&T.  Having fun ever since.
