Had two tours at SCN. 

He was assigned as the NCOIC of Master Control in the old engineer room with 16mm projectors and 4 VTR’s. 

After 3 years in MCO, he began working for Ken Fries, the Chief of broadcast operations making movie guides, "coming attractions and community bulletin."

He was later put in charge of Traffic & Continuity just before Just Cause, replacing SFC Bill Powell. Austin Mansfield, Josh Hart and Joan the film librarian worked with him. He continued to help in the studio and did live van shots.

When he returned in 91, he was the NCOIC TV Operations. SFC Bill Wenger arrived, and took over broadcast operations.

An avid runner who captained many of SCN's Trans-isthmian relay teams during his tours at SCN.

Was at Redondo Beach, CA as an AV manager for a Hotel  and was hoping to get into acting.

As for Panama, Martha and the kids return every year staying for at least a month at a time and Andrew tries to go for around two to three weeks.  Every time they return, they are amazed with the remarkable changes from Panama to David.  

They also plan on buying a house there soon for vacation and retirement.

Biographic Details:  

After the 3 Congressional Letters to fight an overzealous Branch Manager, he was re-assigned to 518 ENG for the remainder of his time in the Army. 

He  ETS'd in May 1999 and returned to Indiana with his wife (Martha) where they had their first child.  

Since then 2001, they moved to Florida to pursue a dream with Ty Kendrick and were offered a record label deal that was turned down by the powers that be. 

Fortunately, he started working in the Sales for Packaging Machinery with a Spanish Company.  It seems that his Spanish has always helped him and continues to work in this industry while traveling the world.

Martha and Andrew now have three kids, two girls and a boy and both remember their times with SCN. They will never forget the Wedding Receptions with everyone at Palmar on the Beach after the Civilian Wedding and of course in Chitre.
