Jerry was considered to be the toughest all around commander at SCN but he was fair. LTC White was responsible for upgrading the entire network. He was committed to having the proper equipment and a pleasant working environment to produce good projects. He supported his team. |

Colonel White arrived in Panama with a bacterial infection in his heart. LTC Jerry White, while SCN commander, continued to suffer serious heart problems and passed away Sept 21, 1994 at the age of 42, while attending the funeral of his mother in Texas. His death was a shock to all the SCN personnel. Mateo reflects that Colonel White continued to influenced him greatly in his productions after passing away. | |
