Worked for a short time as TV Sportscaster, then as Morning Show News Anchor on Radio. Worked as staff announcer working up to a short lived stint as Morning Show DJ. Moved over to the TV side of the operation and worked as Technical Director and Audio/Film Chain operator. Then worked with Woody Holbrook in TV production administration. Realizing the career limitations in the production side of broadcasting, he succeeded in getting the opportunity to help the engineering staff and finally working there full time. On his second tour, he was in Engineering for the full duration of his tour. Responsible for recommending the Stand-Up board for the AM radio studio, helped install the FM studio and the FM Automation system (later became the engineer responsible for the automation system, affectionately known as "Mother") Also rewired the TV Audio system after the 'new' color Grass Valley video switcher was installed. |

After the Army, he went to work with RCA Americom in New Jersey (the company which assisted with the installation of the satellite antenna up on the hill behind SCN, next to the MP dog kennels). Worked with RCA as broadcast engineer for the studio/editing center that had the contract with the movie channel Showtime. Worked his way over to the Satellite Earth Station operations and later promoted to supervisor of the RCA Earth Station in Houston. After RCA went to work as City Operations Manager for Argo Communications in Houston, a satellite based long distance company. |

Currently living in Dallas, TX. Woody had a great dry sense of humor and would often work in-house jokes into his routine (like "Bob's Bizerko Lounge" or other subtle references to SCN'ers, who were usually walking past the set while Woody was taping). |

Vince adopted his mothers maiden name in honor of her memory. |
