Occasionally appeared as a guest character on Uncle Bob's Afternoon show.

Trivia:   Married Midge England (SCM volunteer camera) in Aug 72 (met in the CZ November 70 at a live SCN broadcast). Son, Marcus was born April 8, 73.  Divorced in Nov 77.
Biographic Details:  

Born in Phillipsburg NJ and raised near a small town named Harmony. 

Worked at NBC in NYC as a TV camera operator after graduating from Belvedere HS, NJ in 68 but was drafted soon after.

After SCN, moved to Seaford Delaware and worked at WSUX (no kidding!) as a morning DJ. 

Moved to Wilkes-Barre, PA in June 1974 and worked at WILK as a morning DJ.  

Later worked for WNEP in Nanticoke PA. 

Moved to CA then back to his parents home in NJ where he remained for about 10 years. Remarried about 15 yrs ago.

Biographic Details:  

Joe grew up in Olyphant, and worked part time for WARM-AM and WICK (where the wick burned all night) for then-owner Joe Dobbs. 

After SCN, stayed with dual print and broadcast journalism roles through Air Training Command's Moody AFB (Georgia), and 8th Air Force. 

After a short stint at Luke AFB (Arizona), spent last three years teaching at the Defense Information School (DINFOS) Applied Journalism Department. 

Went into civilian law enforcement at Colorado from 1977 to 1985. Private Investigator at Denver until late 1990. 

1990 to present, insurance investigator. 

Still uses the skills he  began developing back at SCN. The cinematography developed into videography, and he has used that for many years. SCN gave Joe all the basics and a part of the incentive to get through the bachelors and masters degrees.

Biographic Details:  

After SCN,  worked for a base ETV  job a Ft. Sill, Oklahoma at the end of 1974 and Eos at July 1975.

For the next couple years, he went to Collage at Oklahoma state in Okmulgee.
worked as a wild cat on oil rigs for about a year while in school and finally graduated. Was urged to California in late 78 by his father, landed Job At Lockheed Missile and Space Co. Sunny Vale, California. Worked there until Mar 84 when he was handicapped by an auto accident. Spent the Next two years off in rehab and continued work at Lockheed but continued to have medical problems till 1990. 

Laid off in 1992 which forced retirement of sorts ever since. Jerry has since attended De Anza Collage and majored in film and TV directing focusing on effects and stop motion for 2 semesters.

He then moved to Alabama to assist his elderly mother who has since passed away.

Worked for WFAA radio & TV in 1969 prior to the Army.  

After leaving the Army, Don moved back to Dallas. Resumed work at WFAA and KRLD before moving to Jackson, Mississippi, in 1973 to be news director of the Mississippi Network. Don's first wife, Paula, died there in 1978.

In 1980, Don moved to Baton Rouge as Operations Manager for the Louisiana Network. Married again in 1981 and divorced 1997. Don has a gorgeous red headed daughter, Connie, who is the light of his life.

Assigned to the TV dept, and ran camera and audio through most of 1969, until Jay Light and Arnie Huberman left and he moved up to the director's console. 

His other main work consisted of doing most of the photo/film production work for the afternoon show while Happy was there. They did films, personal appearances at schools and the famous slide shows set to music.

Trivia:  

The troops loved all the shots of the good looking girls, some of which became station ID's when Steve super-imposed the SCN 8 & 10 over them.

When he rotated back to the states, his dad flew down, stayed at the Holcomb's house, and on December 23, 1970 they started the drive home up the Pan American highway.

After SCN, Steve moved to Pompano Beach, FL and spent 9 years working for JC Penney, Co as a merchandising Manager.

Steve then worked for Southern Bell as a sales rep, leaving in 1984 to go into his own Photography business.

Steve is married to his second wife, Linda for over 20 years. They have a son, Stephen who recently became of age and enlisted in the military with a desire to fly helicopters.

Steve continues to live in Pompano Beach, FL and continues to work in his photography business focusing on Weddings, heirloom photos and other creative people photos which Steve has always shown a talent for .

They have done a lot of traveling over the years, covering most of north America on the roads and have been to 40 countries, amassing frequent flyer mileage. So far they have been to China, Oktoberfest in Munich, and France for free. He is currently working on India.

He installed all FM automation equipment, color studio cameras and film chain, and the first 11-meter satellite dish. He also built the first professional looking TV news set, designing it so that people no longer had to walk through the TV studio to get in and out of the radio studios.
