SCN lobby in August of 1965

Hugh was on his way to Tahiti from Florida and stopped at the Balboa Yacht Club. Crawford and I picked him up there and persuaded him to come to SCN and cut several promos for us (he was a host of NBC Radio’s “Monitor” then) and he did a TV interview with us. All in all, he spent a couple of hours with us. When I took him back, he left his tripod in my trunk, so Marty took it back to him the next day and got a tour of his rented ketch that took him to Tahiti.
